Henrietta Frances “Hank” Smith

Henrietta Frances “Hank” Smith, 87, Weiser, passed away Dec. 10, 2005, in Ontario. Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 15, 2005, at Thomason Funeral Home. Internment will follow at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Weiser. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Dec. 14, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Henrietta was born on March 2, 1918, in Weiser to Clinton and Anna Newcott Glascock. She graduated from Payette High School. She married Arthur H. “Smitty” Smith in Payette on March 3, 1944. She was born and raised on the Glascock family farm where she and her husband farmed and she continued to farm after her husband's death in 1993. Henrietta loved roses, dogs, sheep and cows.

She is survived by nephews, Roger Glascock, Kent, Wash., Mike Glascock, Sparks, Nev., Ray Glascock, Renton, Wash.; nieces, Donna Rickenhauser and Georgette Barbosa, Bethlehem, Pa.; a dear friend, Mina Simonsen, Cheney, Wash. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
