Ruth F. Novak, 95, died Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, in Grace Living in Meridian, Idaho, where she had been residing for the past six months. Ruth, the youngest child of Katherine and Frank E. Wallace, was born in Weaver Township, Iowa, March 5, 1914.

Jan. 25, 1963, she married Clint A. Novak in Phoenix.

They moved to Ontario in 1980, where she resided until her move to Meridian in May of 2009. 

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Marian Phillips, of Redding Calif.; grandchildren, Dorothy Mahoney, of Alexandria, Va., Matt Harris of Sacramento, Calif., and Stacey Morse of Gold River, Calif.; and her niece, Joylyn Rheingruber, of Meridian, Idaho.

She also leaves behind three great-granddaughters, Ginger Harris, Shannon and Kayla Morse, and other numerous nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; her three brothers; seven sisters; her husband, Clint Novak; and her daughter, Roberta Yanger. 

Following Ruth’s request, there will be no funeral or graveside services.
