The Fruitland High School football program will be hosting its 2010 Wing-T Camp on July 22 through July 23 at Fruitland High School.
The fee for the camp is $160 per person and must be paid by July 16. This cost includes a camp shirt, shorts and a game day shirt.
The 2010 Wing-T staff will include Brandon Harris, head coach at Pitman High School in Turlock, CA., a two-time coach of the year. Randy Blankinship, head coach at Madera High School in Madera CA. an 11 time coach of the year and more than 200 career wins. Joey Montoya, head coach at Placer High School in Placer CA. a two-time coach of the year. Don Curtiss, Pitman High School in Turlock CA., a former head coach and four-time coach of the year. Eric Redardi, Offensive coordinator at Placer High School, and Trent Merzon, head coach at Oakdale High School in Oakdale CA., a four-time coach of the year with a 41-game winning streak.

Chukar volleyball camp slated
Ontario
The Treasure Valley Community College volleyball team will be hosting two volleyball camps this summer.
The fist camp, a middle school camp will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 9 and Aug. 10.
This came is for athletes in fifth through eighth grade.
The second camp, the high school camp will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 13 and Aug. 14. This camp is for high school volleyball athletes.

Run for the Hills half Marathon and 5K run scheduled
Fruitland
Tri-County Love INC will be hosting its Run for the Hills half marathon and 5K run to benefit local familes in need on Oct. 2.
The event will begin at 9 a.m. for the half marathon and 9:45 for the 5K run at the Fruitland Community Park in Fruitland.
The half marathon will be a will take runners through apple orchards along the Snake River and walkers are welcome.
Registration for the event is $45 for the marathon and $30 for the 5K.
Those interested can register on line at www.runforthehillshalf.com and if registered before Sept. 1, participants can save $10. Registration will also take place the day of the event.
